Very good kitchen with exquisite dishes, no gourmet portions. Therefore price-performance ratio is very good, despite the somewhat higher prices.

That was my second visit to the wine bar. The first one had wild boar on a spit. And because it was delicious, I wanted to try the daily (seasonal) menu. As always with my reviews of gastronomy, ... one can argue about taste. I had the rump steak with pepper sauce, fried potatoes and a small mixed salad. The meat was fried to perfection (medium), the fried potatoes were good. The sauce with the meat is perfect. The salad, ... well done. For dessert: creme brulee with marinated apple wedges. The apples were too cold for me and the plate had too many fingerprints on the rim. CONCLUSION: It is worth a visit. Good cuisine, great wines, attentive service. Price-performance: absolutely okay. A little tip: before you eat, take a walk through the beautiful village or hike through the vineyards to the little Kallmit and then stop in the wine tavern and enjoy. Reserve: absolutely.

The six of us ate in the kiln and had a consistently beautiful evening. Everyone was very satisfied with their food and drinks. The pumpkin gnocchi were a dream visually and in terms of taste! Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I like the small, seasonal menu with sometimes a little more unusual creations. I think the prices are reasonable due to the quality.

Great ambience. Delicious food (I can recommend rump steak & tarte flambée). As well as a good selection of wines. I can definitely recommend it.

In fact, if you want, you can sit in the old kiln of a former brick factory. Given the garden, that might be something for cold winter evenings. A small, ambitious menu, typical Palatinate wines, as well as newer grape varieties and unusual wines (Blanc de Noire, Black Riesling) - it's worth stopping here! Hopefully next year the cultural evenings on Wednesday, which this year have been due to the corona, will be held again.

We celebrated our wedding there and also accommodated guests. The rooms are modern and cozy. At breakfast there was really everything your heart desires (pastries, fruit, yogurt, juices, olives, even prawns, ...) In the location with the garden you can just feel good. Everything was very nice and uncomplicated in preparation. The menu was a dream (40 times beef was cooked to perfection at the same time, everything else was also extremely tasty, there was also a creative vegetarian dish). The decoration was made the way we wanted it. Even under the special corona conditions, attempts have been made to make everything possible. Many thanks!! We can only warmly recommend the wine bar.

Very tasty and eaten plenty. Great garden and facility. Everything made a very clean impression. The operation deserves particular praise. They were all quick, friendly, and thorough. We agreed with each other so that it didn't seem chaotic to be served by 5 different girls. We would love to come back.

Unique location with a very special charm in different areas. Firstly, a new, modern dining room, an adjoining area in the vaulted cellar, an outdoor area in the courtyard with beer garden seating and last but not least, a very lovingly designed garden area with a variety of seating options. After the conversion you get a nice insight into the very modern and clean kitchen which shows its full potential on a very manageable map. In addition to Palatinate specialties, this also offers a nice selection of fish dishes and seasonal offers. The drinks menu offers a nice selection of regional wines, different beers and a large selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Very friendly and attentive staff complete the experience.
